The Veiled safeguard history, learning, and the knowledge needed to resist the Hollow across generations. They kept the names time left behind and the truths no kingdom could define — and they knew what the Bell was before it went black to everyone else.
Archives, scriptoria, observatories, healing houses and regional libraries, led by senior archivists and lorekeepers. The daily work is recording history, maintaining libraries, studying relics, preserving maps, training apprentices, advancing medicine, and holding on to ward-lore — each whispered word and faded page set against the silence of the age.
Members vow that knowledge exists to serve the people, and that truth must be preserved even when it is difficult or dangerous. Guard the truth; guard the flame — lest the world forget its name.
